Yes, you can teach the world what you know! My 3 tips
What's stopping you from going online and creating an online course (or even 2!) that can greatly benefit your ideal client:
Fear of failure?
The fear of success (yes, it exists and I know! ,-))?
The fear of being seen as an imposter?
Do you feel like you're not expert enough?
Believe it or not, most entrepreneurs run into mental barriers at some point.
Even the most experienced entrepreneurs can encounter insurmountable blockages or insecurities. I have met many entrepreneurs who call themselves introverts and it always leaves me speechless when I compare it with the image they project in their activity.
It is then their ability to resolve their blockages that allows them to move forward.
Removing mental obstacles can be done with a few daily habits and positive dialogue. Here are three tips you can implement into your daily life right now to create a positive mindset:
1. START YOUR DAY WITH POSITIVE AFFIRMATIONS
A quick Google or Instagram search will give you thousands of affirmations to choose from, but you only need to start with a few affirmations that resonate with you.
Display them anywhere in your home or office where you will see them often. Say one or more words in the shower or find 5 minutes of quiet time in the morning to say affirmations or enjoy a short guided meditation.
If you find yourself stressed during the day, leave your desk and start repeating your affirmations. The more you repeat your affirmations, the more your brain will believe them to be true.
2. SURROUND YOURSELF WITH POSITIVE AND AUTHENTIC PEOPLE
You don't need distant acquaintances and fake friendships telling you how great you are; instead, cultivate connection with colleagues in your industry, coaches, or others who are genuinely trying to uplift the people around them and make the world a better place.
Their positivity will rub off on you. And sometimes all you really need to clear your mental and emotional fog is just a quick 5 minute phone call to one of these positive people.
3. CONNECT WITH YOUR TRIBE; THESE ARE THE PEOPLE WHO REALLY WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU
We are all experts at something, even if we are self-taught and don't have a formal degree.
There is a lot to learn from our life experiences and this translates into expertise. Even if you think you can learn more about the specialty you have chosen, you always know much more than your tribe, and these people follow YOU for your knowledge of course but not only: it can be your story, your style or your authenticity which seduces them.
Are there other experts who have an online business in your chosen field? Sure, but don't be intimidated by their fame, status, or number of followers on social media. Share your message with anyone who will listen and believe me: your tribe will find you.
While you're testing these tips, do a little brainstorming to come up with a list of online training ideas. You don't yet need to know the formats or particularities of creating a training course; just write down ideas that might help your ideal audience. Somewhere in there, there's training just waiting to be created, a topic your audience desperately needs to understand. Continue adding to this list until you feel inspired to create your training.
YOUR NEXT STEP – CREATE THIS TRAINING (FOR REAL)!
When inspiration strikes your mind, don't let that lesson idea fester in your mind. It's time to create this training and tell your audience about it.
However, there is definitely a right and wrong way to approach this process, and I have a plan that will guide you in creating your training from start to finish. My Mastercourse “Freedom Formula” is a training in 4 modules, including a workbook and checklists that will help you plan your training. You'll even get checklists to help you stay organized and get ahead, as well as tips on how to delegate tasks to an awesome dream team, making creating your training courses much easier.
